My main complaints are with the picture quality, though, if I remember right, this series was uploaded, removed, then re-uploaded for reasons other than copyright. Considering that, it's far better than nothing.
It seems like all prints that can be found online seem to run a little short (22 minutes). Either the prints are incomplete, or the show had more advertising than most other series of the period (from "Toast of the Town" to "The Morey Amsterdam Show", and for the record, while there were several infomercials at the time like "The Magic Clown", most shows of the period had less advertising than today's network TV of the USA).
But that doesn't really matter. This is a great series, fun, funny and fun-loving.
Jackie Gleason is slightly mis-cast but still is amusing.
When Riley is worried his son is a failure, he comes up with several less-than-credible ideas for his son's future. However, he can't even cut a roast chicken, let alone remove his mother's appendix. LOL.
So, after a disaster involving another kid's chemistry set, Riley comes the conclusion that his son can be a "a doctor, a lawyer, and a book maker!" (bookie). LOL.
